Pianist Ben Fleck performs weekly at the Waterfront Seafood Grill in Seattle Tuesday through Sunday evenings. Diners may hear bits of Broadway show tunes, jazz riffs and popular melodies from Nirvana and Led Zeppelin, to Cole Porter, Johnny Cash and even a dreamy rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. A pianist since he was eight, and a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a degree in piano and composition, Ben has performed around the world and in the presence of such luminaries as Dale Chihuly, Ray Charles, Gerard Schwartz, Billy Joel, Bill Gates, President Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Al Gore, Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners, and has appeared on stage with Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley and Kenny G..

Ben gives piano instruction here in Seattle during the days for those of you who have a urge to learn keyboard (or maybe pick up where you left off when you were young. Or just grab a lesson while you are visiting Seattle for a "piano brush-up") Ben spends his daytime hours composing songs at his home (Canal Street Songworks in Fremont, the "artsy" part of Seattle), teaching piano, studying wine, tutoring, "learning" French, and loving life.
